About Jo-Mac Golf

On a cold blustery morning in March of 1981 the doors of Jo-Mac Golf Ltd. opened in a small store front in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. No one could have imagined that almost twenty years later the father and son "Dynamic Duo" of Don and Joe McKay would have a total of three locations. The expansion in March of 1987 took the Dartmouth store to a larger location in the Burnside Industrial Park. This proved to be a prosperous move providing a central location for the golfing communities. As people began to know and trust the "Jo-Mac" name Don and Joe opened their second location across the harbor in the capital city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. A short two years later, a third location in Moncton, New Brunswick was opened to better serve the western end of the Maritime Provinces. With a client base touching all ends of the Atlantic Provinces as far east as St. John's, NFLD, Jo-Mac golf continues to provide top quality merchandise at discounted prices and top notch customer service, the same standard which were set forth in 1981. The Dartmouth store remains the flagship of the operation, housing the office of Joe McKay who remains the "hand's on" leader of the staff in all the stores. Joe ensures that the standards set forth by his father and himself still remain at the forefront of Daily operations. Jo-Mac Golf still continues to be....
